Mini Print International Cadaqués 45thにて、ファイナリストに選ばれました！

作品は「道を識るもの」です。スペイン、イギリス、フランスのギャラリーを経て戻ってきたので、お疲れ様の気持ちで額装してあげました。

実はこのモチーフの小舟は、約30年ほど前に訪れた北スペインのア・コルーニャという港町の風景の中にあったもの。（写真二枚目）

ガウディもサンチャゴ・デ・コンポステラも見たけれど、なぜかずっと心に残っているのがこの港町と小舟です。この小舟は他の版画にも度々登場させています。

我が家の両親の教育方針で私は13歳頃から毎年のように、学校の休みを利用して色々な国へひとりで行かされており、北スペインは親が資金を出してくれた最後の旅行でした。私の中に色々な体験と風景のストックを作ってくれた両親には本当に、本当に、感謝。

I’m really happy to my work “ Who Knows the Way “ has been selected as a finalist in the 45th Mini Print International Cadaqués.

I framed my small work which has just come back to my home after a long journey through three countries.

In fact, this small boat motif was in the scenery of a port town called A Coruña in northern Spain that I visited about 30 years ago.

I saw Gaudi’s and Santiago de Compostela and other beautiful things there, but for some reason this port town and its boats that have stayed with me for decades. Thanks to my parents’ educational philosophy, from the age of about 13, I would travel alone to different countries almost every year during my school holidays. Northern Spain was the last trip my parents funded. I am truly grateful to them for building a stock of experiences and scenery in my mind.
